Capitanes Win Serie Eliminatoria
A 1-0 triumph at Coliseo Atlético del Oeste has wrapped up the Serie Eliminatoria for the Mayaguez Capitanes.

"We're off to the Serie Interdivisional," said Capitanes starting pitcher Hortensio Galicia, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Utuado Arribenos by a series score of 3-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said.

The Mayaguez Capitanes will play against the Isabela Quesiteros in the next round. Isabela won their series against the Fajardo Insolentes 3 games to 0. The Serie Interdivisional schedule will be announced after the Serie Eliminatoria finishes.
