Game 5 was big. So was Agustín Amador.

The Toluca starter rose to the occasion at Estadio Municipal de Puebla, leading the Chorizos to a crucial 4-3 victory over the Puebla Mosqueteros. Amador threw 8.1 innings allowing 3 runs as the Chorizos won on the road to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Serie Eliminatoria.

Toluca took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Dennehy Miller hit a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Chorizos.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Toluca manager Santiago Ferra.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, November 6th , 1908 at La Salchichera in Toluca.
