Mosqueteros Win to Tie Series with Chorizos
Puebla starter Gerardo Pérez turned in an exceptional performance at La Salchichera to force the Mosqueteros and the Toluca Chorizos into a decisive Game 7. The right-handed Pérez threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball in a must-win situation against Toluca, leading the way for the 5-0 Puebla win. The winner of the series will advance to the Campeonato de las Ligas.

Pérez gave Puebla a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 7 hits over 9 innings.

Said losing manager Santiago Ferra: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at La Salchichera in Toluca.
