Guanajuato Moves on to Campeonato de las Ligas
The Guanajuato Libertadores bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a Campeonato Nacional de México championship.

Guanajuato downed the Nayarit Mariachis 8-2 tonight at Parque de los Mariachis, to take the Serie Eliminatoria 4-1.

"It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Modesto Valenzuela, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the Liga Nacional Mexicana."

For the series, Valenzuela had 8 hits for .444, with a .524 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 1 RBI and scored 3 runs.
