Late Rally Earns Trujillo Alto 3-2 Win
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Trujillo Alto Macabeos and Quebradillas Corsarios.

Trujillo Alto pitcher Tomás Rangel did his part in helping his team defeat the Quebradillas Corsarios, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Trujillo Alto reliever Álvar González picked up the win to move to 1-2. Ricardo Chávez suffered the loss.

The Campo de los Macabeos crowd went wild in the bottom of the tenth when Eduino Segovia, who finished 2nd in the LH in on-base percentage with .403 in 1905, won the game for Trujillo Alto with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. Segovia was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI in the contest.

Rangel called the win "just what the doctor ordered."

The third-place Corsarios dropped to 28-30.
