At Estadio de Florida, the Caguas Coquis and Florida Mogotes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Florida registered a win at Estadio de Florida by beating the Caguas Coquis, 3-1. Pitcher Felipe Munguía was one reason why the Mogotes triumphed. The winner was Munguía. He threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Cirilo García. Earning his 7th save of the year was Adrián García.

The Mogotes got a big at-bat from catcher Víctor Cruz. For the game, Cruz was 1-3 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Florida a 1-0 lead.

"We have a lot of confidence in Felipe," said Florida manager Eusebio Piñeda.

The win makes Florida 30-29.
