The Carolina Tumbabrazos took on the Mayaguez Capitanes at Coliseo Atlético del Oeste.

The Carolina Tumbabrazos got a good effort from starter Lennon Robertson in defeating the Mayaguez Capitanes at Coliseo Atlético del Oeste. The final score was 4-2. Carl Gillen picked up the save for Carolina, his 24th of the year.

Ronaldo Soto hit a run-scoring triple off Hortensio Galicia in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Tumbabrazos in front, 3-2. Soto had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 2.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Robertson, "and then get after the next one."

The second-place Capitanes now sit at 76-66.
