Camuy right fielder Eduardo Ramos was instrumental in helping the Murcielagos triumph, 7-6, over the Salinas Pescadores. Ramos went 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times. Bob Pitcher picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-0 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 4 in 8.1 innings, while yielding 6 runs. Sabino Ávila nailed down his 14th save.

Carlomagno Peñalosa had a big 2-run double for the Murcielagos in the top of the third inning. With Camuy leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a knuckle curve from 31-year old left-handed pitcher José López and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Murcielagos ahead, 4-1.

"I want us to get on a roll," said Ramos. "It'll happen when everyone's committed to the cause."

The triumph puts Camuy at 35-29 for the season.
