The Manati Acropolitanos had to overcome a big game from Cayey second baseman Rafael Cabrera to leave La Plaza de Cayey with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6, in 10 innings. Cabrera went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Otto Hess. He is now 3-3. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 4 innings. The setback makes Cayey 31-35.

Manati used the timely hitting of Dunnagh Oliver to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Acropolitanos on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
