Despite a great performance by Rincon center fielder Arvino Bagadion, the Fajardo Insolentes defeated the Ingenieros by the score of 5-4 at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas. Bagadion was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The Insolentes have now won 5 straight.

Heraclio Gómez dealt the Ingenieros a blow in the top of the fourth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Fajardo leading 4-1, Gómez hit a 2-1 sinker for a run-scoring single.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Gómez told the Fajardo Daily.
