Lajas Gets 3-2 Win Versus Santa Isabel in 11
The Lajas Marcianos had to overcome a fine effort from Santa Isabel pitcher Jesús Vega to win, 3-2, in 11 innings at Plaza Cósmica de Lajas. Vega went 10 innings and allowed 2 runs. Lajas reliever Domingo Villalobos picked up the win, upping his record to 14-5. Allen Roy took the loss. Lajas, at 32-35, holds down second place in the Liga Betances Suroeste.

The two teams entertained the Plaza Cósmica de Lajas crowd with some good baseball.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Santa Isabel manager Luis Mejía.
