The Coamo Termales faced a tough opponent in Lajas pitcher Dalmacio Nájar, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Estadio Graciano Figueroa by a final score of 2-1 in 14 innings. Nájar went 11 innings and allowed 1 run. Roberto Navarrete came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 6 innings. His record now stands at 2-5. The Termales sport a record of 29-42.

Batting in the bottom of the 14th, 31-year old shortstop Eleuterio Fernández had a real shot to win the game. Lajas pitcher Hestio Apodaca was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Fernández hit a run-scoring single. The Termales had a walk-off triumph.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Fernández told the Coamo Observer.
