Hechiceros 4-1 Winners Over Guanica
The Guayama Hechiceros picked up a win at Estadio de Guayama, knocking off the Guanica Amigos, 4-1. Starting pitcher Héctor Marroquín was a big reason why. Marroquín, who is tied for 9th in the LH in complete games with 14, went the distance for Guayama. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. The Hechiceros now have a record of 24-46 with the win over Guanica.

Miguel Ángel Montoya, who is tied for 4th in the LH in home runs with 4, had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Guayama center fielder hit a run-scoring single. That put the Hechiceros in front, 2-1.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Marroquín. "Successful pitchers do it."
