There was no shortage of dramatics at Plaza Cósmica de Lajas.
Lajas Marcianos starter Diego Rivas turned in a sterling performance against the Cabo Rojo Combatientes, leading his team to a slim, 2-1 win in 10 innings. The Marcianos upped their record to 35-37.
The clutch hit was provided by Eduardo Torres. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Daniel Villanueva in the bottom of the tenth.
"Our team showed some spunk," said Torres.
