The Lares Fieles picked up a win at Coliseo de la República, knocking off the Camuy Murcielagos, 4-3. Starting pitcher José Reyes played a key role in the triumph. Lares reliever Quilvio Mateo picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Sabino Ávila was saddled with the loss. Lares now owns a record of 36-39.

The decisive blow was delivered by Hefesto Muñoz in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off two-time All-Star Sabino Ávila to win the game for Lares. The home crowd went nuts.

"We all want to win," said Muñoz. "We all want to do our part."
