In the 5-4 Quebradillas win over Guayama, the impact of Cecilio García was substantial. García was 3-4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 30-year old shortstop Pablo Recio had a real shot to win the game. Guayama pitcher Héctor Marroquín was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Recio hit a run-scoring single. The Corsarios had a walk-off triumph.
