The Rincon Ingenieros beat the Bayamon Lecheros, 5-3. Rincon pitcher and Caguas, Puerto Rico, native Cristóbal Parada led the way. Parada got the win, improving to 6-1. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. He allowed 3 runs. With the win, the Ingenieros have a record of 80-76.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Lorenzo García was at the plate when Rincon scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Ingenieros to go in front, 4-3.
