Not everyone stuck through the 51-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The Coamo Termales soundly defeated the Orocovis Caciques, 12-1, at Estadio Graciano Figueroa. Sócrates Flores, who finished 2nd in the LB in batting average with .343 in 1905, let his bat do the talking. He was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Coamo. The second-place Termales improved to 34-45.

The Termales ran into trouble in the top of the third. The score was 1-0, Coamo, with one down. Orocovis, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had Pablo Costello at the plate. With a base hit, he could have changed the complexion of the game. Instead, he lined out and the Termales went on to win.
