The Humacao Milagrosos converted a terrific effort from starter Shanley Kennedy into a win over the Culebra Tortugas at El Recóndito. The Milagrosos won the game by a final score of 4-1. Miguel Torres recorded his 8th save for Humacao. With the win, the Milagrosos improved to 29-52.
The Milagrosos benefited from a costly error in the top of the fifth. With Sandalio Moreno at bat and Humacao leading 1-0, the Culebra miscue allowed Humacao to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Kennedy.
