The Coamo Termales and Yauco Corsos provided some drama for the home crowd.

In a tight tilt between the Yauco Corsos and the Coamo Termales, Santiago Ayala was the deciding factor. The Yauco left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Paulino Montes collected his 10th save.

Ayala allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8.1 innings for the Corsos. He walked 3 and struck out 6.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Coamo manager Juan López. "We just didn't cash in."

After today's action, Yauco sits at 44-38, while Coamo falls to 35-47.
