Matadioses Lose as Capitanes Stage Late Rally
The Mayaguez Capitanes picked up a win at Coliseo Atlético del Oeste, taking down the Anasco Matadioses, 3-2. Starting pitcher Ronit Robinson was a big reason why. The Capitanes now own a record of 49-36.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Curro Orozco was at the plate when Mayaguez scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Capitanes to go in front, 3-2.

Robinson called the triumph "a good team win."
