Alia Shrestha pitched a dandy of a game to help the Arroyo Telegrafistas beat the Rio Grande Cotorras, 2-1. The win puts the Telegrafistas at 44-39, while the Cotorras drop to 51-32.

Arroyo took advantage of an error in the top of the 12th inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Diego Loya hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Telegrafistas in front, 2-1.

"To become 'battle-tested,'" said Loya, "you need to compete in this kind of contest."
