Naranjito and Cayey took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
Naranjito right fielder Desiderio Estrada had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Cayey Cornupetas, 4-2. The third-place Brillantes now have a win-loss record of 32-53.
Estrada contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Naranjito in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Estrada took a slider from Américo Prats and stroked the triple to right. His 3rd triple of the season allowed the Brillantes to leap in front, 2-1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Estrada told the Naranjito Times. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
