The Guayanilla Electricos rode a solid performance from 28-year-old starting pitcher Carl Leah to a win, beating the Las Marias Citricos, 9-2, at El Naranjal. The defeat makes Las Marias 7-5.

The Citricos had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Electricos going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old center fielder Alberto Robles came to the plate. Robles hit a run-scoring triple on a full count sinker from Las Marias hurler Ross Taylor. It was Robles's 1st triple of the year.

"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Leah.
