Chupacabras Lose to Telegrafistas in Walk-Off
The excitement level at Estadio Municipal de Arroyo reached a crescendo in the final at-bat.

Telegrafistas second baseman Aarón Saldaña left his mark on his team's 8-7 win over the Canovanas Chupacabras. Saldaña, who finished 5th in the LB in triples with 27 in 1904, was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Arroyo in the contest. The winner in relief was Polifemo Reyes. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-0.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 7-7, 26-year old second baseman Crisanto Chaidez won it for Arroyo. With the bases loaded, Chaidez hit a first pitch sinker from Heriberto Sánchez for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 8-7 win.

Chaidez described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.

The Telegrafistas win now puts them at 46-42.
