The Yabucoa Dulceros topped the Cayey Cornupetas, 6-3, in Liga Hostos action at La Plaza de Cayey. The game was highlighted by the performance of Yabucoa pitcher Víctor Molina. The first-place Dulceros now have a win-loss record of 50-41.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Menandro Parga? The 31-year old right fielder Parga stroked a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Yabucoa up, 5-3. For the game, he was 2 for 2, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Yabucoa manager Jairo López.
