The rain came, as predicted, but the Ceiba Picudos and Camuy Murcielagos were able to complete their ballgame.

Columbano Alvarado pitched well, but the Camuy Murcielagos still lost the game, falling, 4-3, to the Ceiba Picudos at Estadio Víctor Nieves. Santiago Castañeda nailed down his 4th save.

Alberto Torres, who is tied for 2nd in the LB in doubles with 27, had a direct impact on the outcome. Torres contributed a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put Ceiba up, 3-0.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Torres told a Ceiba Today reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."

The third-place Picudos now have a win-loss record of 40-55.
