Fans who congregated at Campo Atletico de San Benito were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Coamo Termales beat the Patillas Cuervos, 6-3, in 14 innings. Coamo pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Egidio Olguín led the way. The winner in relief was Roberto Navarrete. He is now 4-5. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings.

Garry Mallandain's hit in the top of the 14th was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a cutter from Nepomuceno Mireles to center for a run-scoring single. It put Coamo in front, 4-3.

In postgame remarks, Mallandain simply said: "Here's to a great win!"

With the win, the Termales have a record of 46-49.
