San Lorenzo Drops Another One, 6-4
|
The losses keep piling up for the San Lorenzo Leyendas.
The Aibonito Frios defeated the San Lorenzo Leyendas, 6-4, in Liga Hostos action at Coliseo José Sánchez. Aibonito pitcher Redmond Brier had a standout performance. Brier, now 8-11, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 4 runs.
Martín Castro helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Aibonito a 1-0 lead.
"We're not trying to lose games," San Lorenzo manager Guarionex Garza said. "We're working as hard as we can every single day to win."
The second-place Frios are 49-43.
