Electricos Notch 4-3 Win Versus Guabaleros
|
The Guayanilla Electricos and Comerio Guabaleros completed their game despite the rain.
The Guayanilla Electricos topped the Comerio Guabaleros, 4-3, in Liga Betances action at Estadio Tomás Morel. The standout performance belonged to Guayanilla pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Marcial López. López got the win, improving to 11-7. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 3 runs.
In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, the Guabaleros allowed the Electricos to take a 4-3 lead on a base hit and Comerio error.
"They were just a little bit better than us," Comerio manager Timón Licano said.
Guayanilla now has a record of 52-49 with the win.
