Santos Pick Up 2-1 Road Win Over Naranjito

Adjuntas and Naranjito put this game in the books despite some rain.
Adjuntas Santos starter Fulco Martínez turned in a sterling performance against the Naranjito Brillantes, leading his team to a slim, 2-1 win. Martínez picked up the win for Adjuntas, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Adrián Zaragoza earned the save, his 6th, for the Santos.
In the top of the fifth, with the game tied, Naranjito allowed the Santos to go up, 1-0, on a Naranjito error.
"Runs were at a premium," said Adjuntas manager Bolívar Fuentes.
