The Vieques Esqueletos defeated the Rincon Ingenieros, 4-3, in Liga Hostos action at La Necrópolis. Vieques pitcher Tiberio Torres had a standout performance. The win makes Vieques 44-60.

René Romero aided the Vieques cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Torres said.
