Ceinture Collects Hit Number 2000
The day belonged to Jacques Ceinture of the Gurabo Tainos as he became the latest player to reach the 2000-hit plateau. He did it in Gurabo's 11-3 win over San Sebastian.

"It's a moment I'll never forget," said Ceinture after the game. "2000 hits is a lot. It puts you in a very select group. I never expected to be around long enough to reach a milestone like this."
