Golondrinas Dismiss Coquis, 3-2

At Campo Atlético de Caguas, the Caguas Coquis and San German Golondrinas were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Both offenses were relatively subdued at Campo Atlético de Caguas. Fortunately for the San German Golondrinas, though, Regan Kenny was able to deliver in the clutch. He went 2-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, to lead his team past the Caguas Coquis, 3-2. Valeriano Partida closed the door for San German, picking up his 15th save of the year.
Kenny contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for San German in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-0, Kenny took a fastball from Venancio Torres and stroked the home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Golondrinas to leap in front, 3-2.
"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Kenny.
The win gives San German a season record of 62-48.
