Loiza and Juana Diaz left the crowd in suspense until the final out.

Loiza Vejigantes starter Humberto Camarillo was in midseason form, as he helped his team beat the Juana Diaz Reyes, 2-1, in 15 innings. The winner in relief was Rubén Rosado. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0.

Gabriel García's at-bat with two out in the top of the 15th was critical. The Loiza shortstop hit a run-scoring single, to put his team on top, 2-1. Runs were at a premium and this one was huge.

"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said García.
