García Impressive in Rincon Win

The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.
The Rincon Ingenieros rode a solid performance from 31-year-old starting pitcher Noé García to a win, beating the Gurabo Tainos, 2-0, at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas. Julio Sánchez earned the save for Rincon, his 3rd.
The Tainos had trouble solving García, who surrendered no runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.
"Good win for us," said García. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
Rincon is now 63-52, while Gurabo is 65-45.
