Behind the hitting of Santiago Romero, the Camuy Murcielagos stopped the Ceiba Picudos, 8-7. Romero went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times for the Murcielagos. Tied up with the Picudos in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Murcielagos got a boost from third baseman Luis Rodríguez. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Rodríguez saw a 1-1 changeup from Juan Rivera and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Camuy on top, 3-2.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Rodríguez.

The defeat makes Ceiba 5-6.
