Toa Alta and Utuado took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

With Gregorio Palacio leading the charge, the Toa Alta Poetas defeated the Utuado Arribenos, 11-7. Palacio was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for the Poetas. Nathan Rolland stitched up the save, his 3rd.

Toa Alta used a well-timed hit by Plácido Carvajal to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Poetas ahead, 8-7. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Palacio. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."

The loss makes Utuado 72-46.
