In a tight tilt between the Carolina Tumbabrazos and the Caguas Coquis, Marcos Frías was the deciding factor. The Carolina right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Carolina reliever Marcos Frías got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ricardo Puello was tagged with the loss. The Tumbabrazos improved to 52-69.
Luis Baca broke a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the fourth with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Tumbabrazos in front, 1-0. For the game, Baca drove in one run.
