The Adjuntas Santos topped the Bayamon Lecheros, 7-2, in Liga Hostos action at Estadio Hernán García. The standout performance belonged to Adjuntas pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Ricardo Dávalos. In 9 innings, Dávalos surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
The Santos got an important contribution from left fielder Lalo Santos, who in the bottom of the first punched a full count changeup to left-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Santos ahead, 3-0.
