Vega Baja beat Comerio in a rain-soaked ballgame.
The Vega Baja Caneros earned a close win over the Comerio Guabaleros, thanks in part to Fernando Fontánez. The Vega Baja right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the LB in complete games with 15, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Fontánez, now 15-12, was the winner.
