Palomas Lose as Soles Stage Late Rally
|
The Luquillo Soles picked up a win at Estadio Pedro González, taking down the Cidra Palomas, 5-3. Starting pitcher Gumersindo Gómez was a big reason why. With the win, the Soles have a record of 53-66.
In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Cidra allowed the Soles to go up, 4-3, on a Cidra error.
"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Gómez.
