Marineros Hang 4-2 Loss on Arribenos
|
The Barceloneta Marineros picked up a win at Coliseo Llenza Fellú, topping the Utuado Arribenos, 4-2. On the mound for Barceloneta was right-hander José Villa. He played a principal role in the triumph. The Marineros improved their record to 76-47 with the win over Utuado.
The Marineros took advantage of an error in the bottom of the fourth inning. Barceloneta was leading 2-0 when Ricardo Noriega hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Marineros in front, 4-0.
"We'll put this win in the can," said Villa, "and go after the next one."
