The umbrellas came out during the Salinas-Aguas Buenas contest at Coliseo Miguel Chávez.

Salinas pitcher Damián Medina had a large part in his team beating the Aguas Buenas Mulos, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Pescadores improved their record to 75-51 by beating Aguas Buenas.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 28-year old center fielder Rafael Cuán. Cuán had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put the Pescadores ahead, 3-2. For the game, Cuán had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

Postgame, Pescadores manager Frank Olin complimented Medina. "No question about it. Miedo was terrific."
