Though the conditions were not ideal, the Vega Alta Martilleros and Arroyo Telegrafistas came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Behind the hitting of Nepomuceno Limas, the Vega Alta Martilleros stopped the Arroyo Telegrafistas, 8-4. Limas went 4 for 5 with 4 singles for the Martilleros. Vega Alta's record now stands at 52-77, placing them third in the Liga Betances Costa Norteña.

The Martilleros got an important contribution from shortstop Matías Rodríguez, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a cutter to left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 26th double of the season and put the Martilleros ahead, 5-1.
