The Rio Grande Cotorras and starting pitcher Julio Ochoa stifled the Hormigueros offense en route to a comfortable 9-1 win at Recinto Atlético del Noreste. With the loss, Hormigueros falls to 11-12.

One pivotal at-bat came in the top of the third with no one out. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Romeros trailing 3-0, Julio Ochoa needed to make a quality pitch. He threw a 1-0 sinker to retire Roberto Núñez, who flied out.
