Milagrosos Take Down Coquis, 8-5
|
Jérôme Charbonnier was a major contributor to the 8-5 Humacao win over Caguas. The Milagrosos center fielder went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Shanley Kennedy finished to wrap up his 1st save. The Milagrosos, at 53-75, sit in third place in the Liga Hostos Este.
Humacao used a well-timed hit by Henry Masondo to capture the win. The second baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Milagrosos ahead, 7-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Masondo.
