Caguas Coquis starter Marvin Bernard pitched a strong game against the Fajardo Insolentes at Estadio Rolando Figueroa, leading the Coquis to victory, 5-1. Getting the save was Jesús González, his 5th. The Coquis now have a record of 53-75.
Isabelino Domínguez was vital to the Caguas win. He was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. In the top of the fifth with two out, Domínguez hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Coquis.
"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Bernard.
