The Arecibo Lobos and Hatillo Canarios rewarded fans hoping for a nail-biter.

The Arecibo Lobos faced a tough opponent in Hatillo pitcher Benicio Pantoja, but found a way to pull out the victory at Estadio Municipal de Arecibo by a final score of 4-3 in 15 innings. Pantoja went 11 innings and allowed 3 runs. Arecibo reliever Eugenio Franco picked up the win to move to 19-12. Cristóbal Osorio suffered the loss.

The Lobos relied on left fielder Euríalo Sánchez for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 15th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Sánchez.

The Lobos improved their record to 73-53 by beating Hatillo.
