Red-Hot Cotorras Win Again
The rain came, as predicted, but the Rio Grande Cotorras and Ceiba Picudos were able to complete their ballgame.

Rio Grande Cotorras starter Julio Ochoa was on his game, helping his team beat the Ceiba Picudos, 3-1. The winner was Ochoa. He threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Esdras Turcios. Lidio Rodríguez was credited with the save for Rio Grande, his 2nd of the season.

In the bottom of the ninth, the Cotorras had to halt a comeback by the Cotorras. The score was 3-1, Rio Grande, with one out. Ceiba had a runner on 1st. But Martin Reynolds, on a first pitch cutter from Lidio Rodríguez, popped out.
